5 Best Coffee Spots In Denver Metro

Denver is heating up, but at least for me, the day still isn't allowed to start until I get a cup of coffee or three in my system. I love coffee, and Starbucks is great for its consistency, but I ultimately would rather go to a little mom and pop coffee shop whenever I can and support local business that helps to send kids to dance class, buy homes, and build lives and families. Small businesses are one of the most important things we have, and lucky for Denverites, we have lots of great coffee shops to test out .

5 Stella's Gourmet Coffee and Such

Located just off the Louisiana Pearl Stop on the lightrail (1476 S Pearl St, Denver, CO 80210)  Stella's has been offering a place to relax, read, write, and work for as long as I can remember. Try the Con Panna( double shot with whipped cream) for a kick in the butt first thing in the morning.

4 Romancing the Bean

Located in Littleton, this shop is inside a 139 year old train station.(5800 S. Prince Street, Littleton 80120 )  They are relaxed and cozy with Santiagos breakfast burritos available! Try the Iced Latte with vanilla syrup while you're waiting at the Park and Ride!

3 Nixon's Coffee House

Located down in Englewood,  Nixon's Coffee House brings a casual, homey flair to the coffee house model (871 Englewood Pkwy. ,  Englewood CO 80110). They have lots of tables and an open room ideal for larger groups, this place is definitely one worth stopping by for. Try their Drink of the Month and always try something new!

2 La Belle Rosette Espresso and Wine Bar

Me myself, I love anything that mixes my two great loves, alcohol and coffee. This cute little place offers both 'to go' coffees typical of a morning coffee shop, and an extended specialty menu( the Hot Vanilla Fudge Latte is positively to die for).(  2423 S University Blvd, Denver, CO 80210 ) Or, if you're headed over there after work, they offer quite a few delicious Espresso cocktails, including a grandmere mocha, with grand mariner, chocolate, espresso, and milk.

1 Little Owl Coffee

Located in the heart of downtown on 15th and Blake( ) is a tiny little shop right off my daily commute that has the best lattes in town. I highly recommend these guys.
