Farmers Market Season

IT's that time of year again, the time of year where everyone is on a fresh veggies and fruits kick. Not everyone has time to actually grow those things yourself though, and if you're like me, you want that homegrown taste still. So here's a few links to some of the most highly anticipated farmer's markets for the summer of 2015, along with when your favorite veggies will be harvested and available.

Denver Area Farmer's Markets 

CHERRY CREEK FRESH MARKET

E. First Ave & University Blvd.
The award winning Cherry Creek Fresh Market is the largest farmers market in Denver. Touted as the “Cadillac of farmers markets,” it features many local farmers and artists, with an eclectic mix of food, produce, art and music

WHEN: Saturdays, May 2 - October 31, 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.; Wednesdays, June 17 - September 30, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.



THE FARMERS MARKET AT HIGHLAND SQUARE

32nd & Lowell
Beginning June 7 and every Sunday through til the end of September, Highlands Square will bring you The Farmers Market at Highland Square. This is the first year for this farmer's market and I'm excited to see what they bring to the table. 

WHEN: Sundays, June 7 - September 27, 9 a.m - 1 p.m.


LITTLETON FARMERS MARKET

7301 S. Santa Fe Dr., Littleton
 takes place from June 17 - October 28, at the Aspen Grove Lifestyle Center. If you want to be even more eco-friendly, take the light rail to Aspen Grove to reduce your carbon footprint.

WHEN: Wednesdays, June 17 - October 28, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
